Instrument Suction Cup Bugs

These simple to use instrument suction cup "bugs" are a great way to mark V-speeds, target altitudes, manifold pressure, RPM, or other important instrument indicators. The bugs are a clear suction cup with a yellow-tipped pointer that mounts to the face of any instrument. Allows you to quickly view important instrument information without obstructing your overall view of the instrument. A screw friction lock lets the yellow pointer tip rotate 360º both left and right. Simply move the pointer to the number you want to remember or visually quick-check. Completely portable which is especially useful when you are flying different aircraft. After flying, simply remove your "bugs" and take them with you. Now you're ready for whatever aircraft you fly next time.

Cute Gizmo

Pros: Great for marking HDG or V-speeds on the traditional (steam gauge) cockpit. Easy on/off the dial face.
Cons: No multi-bug/color option. Not recommended to double-up the pointers.
Review: A light addition to your flight-bag.

helpful but not infallible

Pros: many uses and no affordable alternatives
Cons: they will fall off, probably when you are flying
Review: I've used these for years. The screw allows them to adjust tension, so they don't start to slip over time. The suction cups won't stick well unless moistened first and they will eventually fall off, 1-6 months, in my experience. They are great for altitude bugs and any other gauge that doesn't rotate under the glass.

Review: I fly a king air. I just stick it on the gage and adjust for the DH or MDA. It works just like the bugs I am used to on the 727 and the A 320 I used to fly.
