Three Bar Pilot Epaulets - First Officer

Every professional aviator knows the importance of wearing a polished, correct pilot uniform, including pilot epaulets. Not only do pilot epaulets show your rank, they complete the professional look of a pilot’s uniform. Pilot epaulets, also referred to as epaulets, epaulettes, shoulder bars, or stripes, are a tradition expanded from the military, and are now a standard for most flight crew members.

These pilot epaulets are used by major airlines, corporate flight departments and flight schools around the world. These traditional slide on shoulder boards are  constructed of quality fabrics, lock stitched to prevent unraveling. They are 3 3/8" long with standard 3/8" wide stripes (official military braid).

Sold as a pair. Choose your epaulet background color (black or navy) and braid color. Pictured (from left to right); Gold Nylon on Black, Gold Metallic on Black, Silver Metallic on Black and Silver Nylon on Black.

Three Bar Gold Metallic Epaulets

  • By A Customer from Honolulu HI USA on Wednesday, November 15, 2017
  • Pros: Provides excellent description position as a Sr.1st Officer
  • Review: The braid quality of the metallic gold material has meet my expectations. However, the design on the black background
material gives the entire item an appearance of a triangle at the bottom portion. In addition, the braided portion (gold metallic) needs more material! Gives a very flat appearance.

Fits well with the shirt

  • By A Customer from San Francisco CA USA on Wednesday, January 13, 2016
  • Pros: Good size length and width, tappered to prevent sliding
  • Review: The slight tappered epaulets prevents it from sliding and keeps it in place.

A little "Pricey"...

  • By William G from Titusville FL USA on Monday, January 19, 2015
  • Pros: Easy to use
  • Review: It's a decoration... It's legible and does its job. They are a bit expensive for what they are and the black background tends to fade a little too quickly in my opinion.
