Tuesday, November 23, 2010 Great Piper book !!! by Fred from Providence RI  Pros: Excellent airline traveling companion with plenty of usable information. Cons: Copyrighted in 1995. Perhaps a newer version is on the way. Review: This softbound book is a great little reader for anyone who loves Pipers. There is a huge amount of usable data, charts, diagrams and b/w photos (no color photos). I take this book with me when I fly the big airlines and it is so engaging, I arrive at my destination before I know it. It is a rather smallish book but it fits my baggage easily. Covers carb icing to preflight checklist to handling and limitations and much more in 7 sections. Even if you do not own a Piper or even a plane for that matter but love small airplanes, it is very interesting reading.
