Perfect for a young child!

Pros: lightweight, lots of planes and nicely designed!
Cons: would be more fun if planes were different, but a 2 year old won't know the difference
Review: I purchased the airplane mobile for my 2 year old grandson who loves airplanes! We are very happy with it...it is perfect for his age..it is light and moves very easily in a little breeze...I would buy it for another young child! Thanks!

Downsized over 20 years

Review: Since i have a previously purchased example of this item (c.1986), I can easily compare the most recently purchased item. The bi-planes are identical or nearly so. However, the steel rods which make uo the mobile have been shortened. The mobile now has the effect of looking crowded together. The planes are grouped into tight pods of three (planes in a pod will touch each other)and it seems unnatural. Also because of the downsize, the mobile is most suited for a small room/location or it will be dwarfed by its surroundings.

A classic mobile

Simple but charming

Review: This was a great buy. It's hard to find airplanes that arn't cartoons. I wish the planes were a little bigger so the colors would "pop", but overall I really like it.

Great gift for kids and airplane lovers

Pros: Colorful, well-balanced mobile. Kids love them.
Cons: Over years (15) the plastic can dry out.
Review: This is the 5th airplane mobile I have bought and gifted. The first was almost 15 years old and was just recently replaced because it is so enjoyed.

Nice Mobile for the Price

Pros: Colorful, good price
Cons: Not enough levels, too crowded
Review: The mobile is very colorful - my son loves it. I had expected it to be somewhat more multy-level, but all airplanes hover at the same height. Also, while it is nice to have MANY airplanes, they are so crowded that the three planes in each set don't move much within that set. All in all it is a nice mobile for the price.

Good idea, needs some work

Cons: Was broken when received
Review: Overall my infant son loves the mobile, bright colors and movement. Yet when it arrived some of the planes were not attached and I had to glue them back on. Could use more movement, each branch has three bundles of planes on it, but they are too close together to move around.

Pros: good value for the price
Review: I bought this for my son's second birthday. He LOVES airplanes and always points them out in the sky. I bought the mobile and he loves it. He likes the colors and the fact that there are lots of planes. The size of the mobile is great since it is unobtrusive but my son still notices it frequently and points the planes out to me.
