Cons: I didn't notice any as yet

A: If you need to convert impedance you will need the Low to High Impedance Adapter.

A: Do you know the model number of the David Clark headset that you have? If it's a military headset it will have a single plug. Some can be adapter simply using this adapter and some will require a different microphone as well (i.e. the David Clark H10-76 will also require the 1142-22 microphone).
