A:

Plexus is intended to be sprayed on and then cleaned with a soft cloth such as our Super Soft Lint Free Windshield Towels.  It really shouldn't just be left to dry on.  Here in the dusty Arizona desert, I usually clean my windshield with Plexus every five flights or so.
