Very convenient but could be better

  • By Lamagic2010 from Little Rock AR USA on Thursday, July 12, 2018
  • Pros:
  • Review: I love the fact that I don't have to get out the big truck when I have to go, this item is very useful and creative. It would make this item much better if there was a small stand that comes with it to hold the hose upright to keep urine from dropping off of the lid when done using.

  • Pros: Rating: Over-all design and concept and female adaptor = 5
  • Review: I am female. I am a semi invalid with incontinence. I use the device standing by the side of my bed. I cannot stand unsupported. I live alone and in a wheel chair so I must empty the unit on my own. The bathroom door is too narrow to allow the wheel chair to go in. So I use two heavy quad canes for total support for the 8 footsteps from the doorway to the commode. Both my hands are occupied with the canes, but somehow, I must find a way to carry the full urinal. The little handle on the tank is too small even for a woman's hands to get two fingers under the handle to carry it. /// I love not having the smell of urine in my bedroom from a bucket port-a-potty. I love the idea of not having a bucket with a bucket handle and a non-fastening lid -- a large container that I would have to carry to the bathroom and empty. /// I love the concept of this innovative design and the thought that has gone into it. I love the concept of the tank' screw-on cap. I only wish it worked! /// I hate the way the plastic pieces that are all supposed to screw together will not thread correctly (not just one, but ALL of them! ). The starting plsce of the plastic screw-on sections are poorly executed. So, before I can use the unit standing up, I must protect my bedsheets with a urine-proof pad, and to hang a second waterproof sheet down from the top of the bed to protect the side of the mattress top and the exposed bed frame, and as well, lay down a water proof sheet on the floor to stand onto protect the hardwood floor, because the unit LEAKS at every level where two separate plastic pieces need to be screwed together. No matter how careful I am, I always get urine on my hands or on my feet, or running down my leg, sf sometimes on the floor ///. The designer had tried to make the unit fool-proof, with a screw-on lid to close off the tank from leaks and odors. The lid attachment device only worked four times before the little fixed button no longer held the plastic fastener so the screw on lid would never be lost, Now, because of the failure of this section, the screw-on lid COULD be lost or separated from the rest of the unit. Now I have to do an inventory before each use to make sure I have the lid to the urinal in the same place as the urinal. same place as the urinal. There is no way to make the little button and its fastener to connect and work again. Female adapter and hose opening not a good fit, since I get urine on my hands each time

he snp=on devielittle button where the fool-proof connection was then inoperable

To use it standing up I must lay down protective plastic pads on my bed sheets, Then I have to drape the side of bed with plastic backed sheeting my tucked sheets -;infra omgThe design is suppose to safely contain urine when the unit is carried off to the bathroom for disposal.

ANXIETY RELIEF

  • By BARNEY from Bernville PA USA on Thursday, March 30, 2017
  • Pros: relieves anxiety
  • Review: MY WIFE HAS NOT YET NEEDED TO USE IT, BUT THE ANXIETY OF NEEDING IT AND NOT HAVING IT HAS ABATED. I HAD LANDED TWICE BECAUSE WE DID NOT HAVE A PORTIBLE URINAL. AT OUR AGE NOW, IT IS EVEN NECESSARY FOR LONG AUTOMOBILE TRIPS. BETTER TO HAVE ONE THAN NOT!

Works Well

  • By Ronnie from Ocala FL USA on Wednesday, July 13, 2016
  • Pros: The female adapter is shaped well and large enough for confidence.
  • Review: The hose is long enough to set the tank on the ground securely. The tank could be larger for those of us who stay hydrated while working.

Cheep product.

  • By Dawn from Tyler TX USA on Tuesday, April 19, 2016
  • Pros: easy to use with male sitting in wheelchair.
  • Review: Worked well at first but it now has a hole in the plastic base. Not in the expansion tubing part of the urinal. Cheep and now useless
