A great jacket for the future pilot

Pros: The overall look of the jacket and patches are great
Cons: Thin and fragile
Review: This jacket has a great authentic look with the patches, collar, and the lining of a map on the inside. The synethic leather gives it a nice overall look. The down side to this jacket is it seems delicate and thin. This is something great to wear on a mild winter afternoon or a nice spring day.

Looks adorable on my grandchildren.

Review: I had read previous reviews, so I knew these jackets were not as warm and heavy as I had hoped. But I did purchase them, and they are what I expected. They are well-made and look adorable on my grandchildren. (A boy and a GIRL.) I would have liked a warmer jacket, but they'll just have to use them in spring and fall rather than winter.

SIZE IS IMPORTANT

Review: After paying in total R800 (SA) for this item, which is very expensive, but in the light of it being something very special to my 12 year old son and being a birthday present, I ordered it. We ordered the jacket size 14-16 believing that it would be more than correct for his size, him being 12 and of average built, and might also still keep him for a while still to come. The jacket arrived being too small. What do we do? It now hangs in the cupboard and seems te be a total waste of money.

My grandson was thrilled...

Pros: Very realistic with the patches
Cons: I would have preferred leather to the vinyl it's made with, but he'll probably outgrow it before he wears it out.
Review: he has taken a liking to all things related to flying and aircraft, so he was please to have this authentic looking jacket.

Good looking but no substance

Cons: Look not consistant with lack of warmth
Review: My son had this jacket as a hand-me-down and I loved it. When he outgrew it I ordered a new one. Not only does it run really small(as they state on the site) but the quality is no longer the same. They stopped adding the quilting in the lining which makes the jacket inappropriate for cooler weather. This makes no sense because it has the faux shearling collar which makes it look like a winter jacket. It looks really nice but I was disappointed with the lack of insulation.

Cons: not a durable or warm as his old one
Review: My son loves his new bomber jacket. It replaces one he has had since he was five. The quality isn't as durable as I had hoped, but he's happy. You should carry this in one more size before adult, 18/20.

Review: My 6 yr old military obsessed son loves this jacket. He wears it everywhere. He loves the real patches and the cool map lining. His buddies think it is pretty cool too and so does WWII grandpa.

One cool jacket!

Review: My 3rd grader was soooo excited to see that Santa brought him a bomber jacket. In fact, all his buddies at school love it too. Everyone likes the patches, the fuzzy collar, everything! His teacher even told me that some days he never even takes it off during class. =-) This is a great product at a wonderful price. And believe me, I searched and searched for a bomber jacket that wasn't too pricy. This jacket is the bomb!!!
