I DID buy this product again!

Review: The first jacket I ordered (sz.4/5) would have been too small for a four yr. old. so I saved it and ordered a sz. 6/7 for him. He won't take it off! He is so thrilled. If I could change anything I would have the option of a velcro name tag. I shopped around for this jacket and found the price here to be the best; great service and a jacket that really scored for my grandson!!!

"Go for a larger size than what is normally worn."

Pros: The design.
Cons: Buy a size or two larger.
Review: My grandson loves it. He grew out of one we had purchased at Sears years ago for the older grandson who then passed it down to him. This one has more patches on it, and he loves it. I am glad that I bought a size 7 even though he only wears a size 5. It seems small and just fits him now--I'm hoping it will still fit through the fall and spring. So, I feel that I paid a bit much for one season of wear.

Review: We just love the jacket and it was definately the best price that we were able to find. We were gratefull for the other reviews that warned us to buy a larger size. My son wears a shirt size 8 and a winter coat size 10. I bought the pilot jacket in a 14/16 and it fits well, with just a little room to grow. The coat is a faux leather and not real warm,sort of an "in between" coat, but it looks adorable and my son thinks it's great/

Good value for the money

Cons: Fake leather looks fake
Review: I read previous reviews and was glad that I orded a size bigger than needed. It fits great, with a little exrta room for growth. My son absolutly loved this jacket. It was his favorite Christmas gift. Even over his Rip Stick. He wears it proudly every day. I think the fake leather look is a little cheap, but after seeing my 9 year old's face when he put it on, made that fade in comparison.

grandsons love the jackets

Cons: not as heavyweight as some other jackets of this type
Review: Twin grandsons out grew similar jackets I bought for them at the Lockheed Aircraft company store. They were heavier weight, but cost $20 more even at employee price - As with many kids items they outgrew them long before they were due to wear out so a lighter construction (and lower price) like this seems just right.

Happy with Jacket

Review: This is the second time I have bought this jacket for my son. He grew out of the first one this year. My only complaint is that while the size 8 was small so I ordered a 14/16 and even that size is a bit snug.

Fantastic quality...buy this jacket!

Cons: You may want to buy one size larger than your child's size.
Review: I looked at this jacket on other websites and found they were much more expensive. This jacket is a great value. It is very well made and my son loves it. It arrived very quickly. The only thing I would suggest, is to buy the jacket one size bigger than your child's clothing size. Bomber jackets are tight at the waist and cuffs and I felt he would need the extra room. This also allows them to wear a thicker shirt underneath without feeling restricted. I am glad I ordered the larger size. My son is an 8 and I ordered the 10. He will be able to wear it for a good while. I am thrilled with my purchase!

A great jacket for the future pilot

Pros: The overall look of the jacket and patches are great
Cons: Thin and fragile
Review: This jacket has a great authentic look with the patches, collar, and the lining of a map on the inside. The synethic leather gives it a nice overall look. The down side to this jacket is it seems delicate and thin. This is something great to wear on a mild winter afternoon or a nice spring day.

They are well-made and look adorable on my grandchildren. (A boy and a GIRL.) I would have liked a warmer jacket, but they'll just have to use them in spring and fall rather than winter.

SIZE IS IMPORTANT

Review: After paying in total R800 (SA) for this item, which is very expensive, but in the light of it being something very special to my 12 year old son and being a birthday present, I ordered it. We ordered the jacket size 14-16 believing that it would be more than correct for his size, him being 12 and of average built, and might also still keep him for a while still to come. The jacket arrived being too small. What do we do? It now hangs in the cupboard and seems te be a total waste of money.

Good looking but no substance

Review: My son had this jacket as a hand-me-down and I loved it. When he outgrew it I ordered a new one. Not only does it run really small(as they state on the site) but the quality is no longer the same. They stopped adding the quilting in the lining which makes the jacket inappropriate for cooler weather. This makes no sense because it has the faux shearling collar which makes it look like a winter jacket. It looks really nice but I was disappointed with the lack of insulation.

Review: My son loves his new bomber jacket. It replaces one he has had since he was five. The quality isn't as durable as I had hoped, but he's happy. You should carry this in one more size before adult, 18/20.

Review: My 3rd grader was soooo excited to see that Santa brought him a bomber jacket. In fact, all his buddies at school love it too. Everyone likes the patches, the fuzzy collar, everything! His teacher even told me that some days he never even takes it off during class. =-) This is a great product at a wonderful price. And believe me, I searched and searched for a bomber jacket that wasn't too pricy. This jacket is the bomb!!!
