TIME STANDS STILL
by Tom from Fairfield Bay AR USA

Pros: Looks great.
Cons: Wish it had an illumination switch.
Review: Upon receiving, installing new batteries and setting accurate time, I noticed after a few hours the clock began losing minutes. I reset and again, over time it would fall behind by about 10 minutes. I called customer service and they sent me another one, it too began losing minutes. After a reset the clock began keeping accurate time and is still doing so. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and the willingness of the store to replace my first one. I would recommend this vintage clock going forward but keep in mind at $30 bucks this is not a Rolex timepiece.

Review: I love it ! It it mounted with Velcro to my instrument panel in my vehicle, along with a very effective actual altimeter. I live in an area of Southern California in close proximity to the San Gabriel and other mountain ranges and enjoy going to the high desert and low desert in the Palm Springs area.  5 stars for looks and accuracy. Thanks

Ask Your Own Question
On Friday, May 27, 2016 a customer asked:
Q:
Does this vintage clock really tell altimeter?
A:

This is not functional.  It is decorative only.

On Saturday, March 12, 2016 a customer asked:
Q:
does the unit have an atmospheric pressure setting or a zero setting so that one can set the instrument to a known elevation?
A: Hello!  This is simply a clock and not a real altimeter.  It tells the time and has an alarm, but that is all.
