The HMEC-462 is the exact same as the
Sennheiser
HMEC-460 except that it only has a single U/174U plug for
helicopters and a coiled cord. If you are looking to use this in a Fixed
Wing aircraft, we recommend the
Sennheiser HMEC-461
instead.

This lightweight headset is fitted with a volume control for the headphones,
flexible boom microphone, collapsible leatherette cushioned headband,
leatherette ear seals, mono/stereo switch and the on/off switch for NoiseGard(TM)

Headset for helicopters by Staffan from Clearwater FL USA
Review: The headsets do not work on helicopters. We have tried on 3 helicopters. Every time we get a high pitchtone.
