Nice performance for price!!! by Craig from San Antonio TX USA
Pros: Price, performance, functionality Cons: Little too tight, volume controls not working with mp3 input. Review: I have had two friends use this headset while flying with me. Both felt it performed very well. One longtime pilot didn't know about the ANR...when after 10 minutes using I turned it on he said..."oh wow, that really works well". Clamps down very well...may be little too tight for bigger heads. Mp3 connection real nice but volume control doesn't seem to adjust the music input...volume not real loud.

by Jim from Placentia, CA
Review: Not enough volume, would be completely useless in a noisy cockpit, the anr feature is not impressive. Save up a few more bucks and get a different one, not impressed.

Good value for the $$ by Larry from Phoenix AZ USA
Pros: Good value for the $$/effective passive noise reduction/average active noise reduction Review: This is my second ANR headset and it has a tough job - as the cockpit of the warbird that I use it in is very noisy. It seems to do a decent job and I would recommend this headset.

On Saturday, September 10, 2011 a customer asked:
Q: Inside the battery box are 2 switches. Can you please explain the use of each switch?
A:
If you are looking at the battery box with the batteries below the two switches, the one on the left is a Stereo / Mono switch. Your headset can be used compatibly with either a Monaural or Stereo intercom system. With the slide switch in the right position, it is Monaural. When moved to the left, it is in Stereo. If you are only receiving audio in one ear, move the slider to the right.
The switch on the right is a Comm Priority Switch. Turning "On" Comm Priority will automatically mute 80% of the auxiliary audio signal. This allows the user to clearly hear radio intercom communications above any auxiliary audio in use. Positioning the switch to the right turns Comm Priority "On", to the left turns Comm Priority "Off ".
On Sunday, December 12, 2010 a customer asked:
Q: can you charge the headset batteries on head set
A:
This headset uses two (2) standard AA batteries. You can get something like the Sanyo eneloop Rechargable batteries if you want to recharge them.
