Pros: good for short attention spans
Cons: short on actual information that you will need to pass
Review: Would get this for a twelve-year-old, light on information, heavy on repetition. If you like to have annoying voices repeating last year's information over and over, you will love this. For this price, I would have at the least expected all the information to be up to date.

Pros: taught by an excellent knowledgeable instructor, full of great facts and insights
Cons: none
Review: Very listenable. Good information. The Gold Seal set is GOLD. Another set that I bought from mypilot store on the same day was "private pilot audio checkride" which was unlistenable. I cannot say enough good about the Gold Seal program - well done, excellent context.

Review: The information on the third class medical for pilots under age 40 is incorrect it should be 5 years not 3 years. The change was made more than a year ago, if that information is incorrect is there any other information that is incorrect that I have not discovered. Other than the information on the third class medical I think the CD is great, but I will not know until after my oral exam.

A: It will cover the general areas that are applicable to both fixed wing and rotorcraft pilots such as weather, airspace, aeromedical, etc. However, parts such as systems and aerodynamics will be geared towards fixed wing pilots.
