Q: can this be used to convert a helicopter headset into a commercial jet headset and still use the mic?
A: No, that is not the purpose of this item. You need the helicopter to fixed wing adapter, instead.

Q: Will this adapter allow me to use my pilot headset a H10-30 as a airliner ground support type headset?
A: This adapter is a 23-inch straight cord with a (PJ-051) plug and two (SC-838) female connectors; it allows two ground support headsets to be plugged in simultaneously. Unfortunately, it will not convert a fixed wing headset to a ground support headset.
