The Garmin GNS 530
Although the manufacturer's manual contains the official recommendations and is
a tremendous reference, ZD Publishing, Inc. concentrates on a task-oriented
format that guides you step-by-step. Generous use of graphics helps you
understand the text for unfamiliar tasks. All GPS operations are covered. This
comprehensive manual also describes all the receiver's pages and their uses. The
table of contents, combined with the task-oriented format, make this take-along

Very Well Done! by Gary from Youngstown OH USA
Pros: Straight forward, concise, only what you need. Cons: None Review: Bought this manual on a whim when I bought a 530W equipped Saratoga. Took a CFII with me days later on a trip through NYC airspace. Read the sections on flight plans the night before, and was able to easily add and subtract waypoints from the four different clearances I received within the space of 30 minutes. Could do that just from the textural references the night before. Same on approaches, et. al. Concise and well done. Only what you need.
