Took me from totally confused to finally getting it

Pros: Steps you through in levels of difficulty.
Cons: Doesn't come with a box
Review: Was really struggling to understand VORs, and my instructor pointed me to these flash cards. Really satisfied with them. The first five sections are entirely intro, and walked me through even what a radial means versus what a course means. Took me awhile to get past the basics, but then made it through the rest. Feel pretty good about VORs now. Wish it came with a box, but I found an index card box at Office Depot for $5 that fits.

VOR training cards

Pros: direct, to the point explanations, good practice
Cons: assumes user already has a working understanding of VORs
Review: It overall is a very good product; however their explanations could go into a little more depth. I already had a good understanding of the subject, but these are an excellent training aid and something I'll definitely use as a CFII.

Buy this flash card deck!

Review: Dyer's VORs-At-A-Glance is an indispensable training aid for student and experienced pilots alike. A great (and fun!) way to sharpen VOR skills using a completely realistic and effective simulation without incurring Hobbs and CFI costs. The deck is well-organized in section tabs and has real-life situations with easy to read diagrams. The "tips and tricks" are especially helpful. VORs-At-A-Glance has sharpened my ability to read and interpret VOR's as advertised - at a glance! I keep it on my desk and use it frequently – it’s easy to run through just a few cards if short on time and I learn something new each time I do. Dyer's flash cards have improved my situational awareness and have made me a safer and more competent VFR pilot. Well worth the money!
