Jeppesen Captain Bag

Features two detachable headset bags and one detachable transceiver/GPS bag with a 4-way adjustable divider that holds up to six Jeppesen 2" binders, a large exterior zippered pocket big enough for a lap-top computer (10"H x 14"W x 2"D), and two exterior (11-1/2"H x 6-1/2"W x 2-1/2"D) zippered storage pockets. Each Captain's Bag is fully padded and made from Dupont's" heavy duty 600D-Denier Corduraý polymer with a PVC coating on one side for added water resistance and designed for superior strength, abrasion resistance, and durability. Good...needs improvement

Pros: Sturdy, reasonable price.
Cons: Too big. No colors but black or blue. No reflective safety strip.
Review: The "Navigator" Bag, slightly smaller than this Captain bag, is a better deal. The Capt. bag is simply too big.

Both bags would be far, far, far better if there were more small exterior pockets and loops, for things like pens, flashlighs, etc.

Idiotically, the Jepp bags are available only in black or dark blue. Many of us would like to have the bags in bright colors, for preference, or for safety on a dark ramp. Luminous tape and reflective tape would also enhance safety.

Good...Could be better

Pros: Solid, roomy, well-made.
Cons: No colors but black or blue. No reflective safety strip.
Review: Solid and sturdy. Don't even have a loose thread yet, and I'm very rough on equipment. If you're an instrument pilot, very nice bag. Too big otherwise, unless you stuff the extra space with clothing and other gear. It could use more small exterior pockets for things like flashlights, handy pens, and the like. IDIOTICALLY, Jepp does not offer this bag in red or yellow or anything bright. Idiotically also, they do not have any reflective strips on it. As a result, you're more likely to trip on it in the dark and break your instrument-rated skull open.
