Classiest tool on the construction site.
by Daniel from Jonesville VT USA

Pros: Lightweight and very effective.
Cons: Ear cushions look like they may not last long - we'll see.
Review: I like the way it stays on my head without feeling tight. It also is unique - no one else wears a DC headset on the construction site - except for the guy who stole my first set.

What? - - I can't hear what you're saying!
by Frank from Palo Alto CA USA

Cons: Can't think of any.
Review: Best hearing protector I've used.

Review: Excellent for blocking out hideous noise from leaf blowers but metal head-band pulls out my hair when I take it off

You get what you pay for
by Steve from Bensalem PA

Pros: Quality, easier to get on than in-ear plugs.
Review: I work on the ramp of a GA airport, and these are much more effective than the foam ear plugs the company provides for us. The quality is far better than similar, cheap hardware store ones. They are sturdy, but not overly heavy. Once the engines shut down I can rest them comfortably on the side of my head. Definitely worth the few extra dollars!

Great for my application
by Frank from Gainesville FL USA

Pros: High quality contruction and comfort.
Cons: People asking me where I found them......:)
Review: I'm not a pilot -- I use these hearing protectors for shooting. They have far superior attenuation to hearing protectors I've found in Sporting Goods, gun shops and discount stores. There is no comparison.

What? What? I can't hear you with my DCs on.
by KJ from Urbandale IA USA

Pros: cost, quality, comfort, ease of use
Cons: none
Review: These haring protectors are great: comfortable, light (overall), and mold themselves over the ears well even if one wears glasses (well...I've thin frames). I could only wish it had a radio built in or a Nano-like hookup in it.

great protectors
by Michael from Duncan OK USA

Pros: performance, contruction quality
Cons: none what-so-ever
Review: I use this product for shooting and woodworking. It is a superb set and contructed in the DC tradition. It's great that DC makes a quality hearing protector so we have a choice as most sets in the 15-20 dollar range are plastic garbage. I own both the 10A and the 27A -take your pick- both will please the most discriminating purchaser.

the headset is great
by michael from fairfax VA USA

Pros: quietness, durability, comfort
Cons: color choices
Review: I work for an airline at the airport for 17 years and I have been through many different types and brands of headset. This Clark is by far the best and most comfortable.  Have no doubt in this product.  It's durable and quiet.  I had one that I bought from the company and I was sold on it.  The only reason I bought another one recently is because as well made as these Clarks are, they don't withstand being run over by a belt loader. =)

Great product, tried & true!
by A Customer from Palo Alto CA USA

Pros: Works great, very comfortable, self-adjusting as you put them on. Way faster & easier to put on than earplugs.
Cons: Well they do cost more than disposable earplugs... but they work way better.
Review: Purchased the David Clark 10A for a friend who spends a lot of time in noisy enterprise computer & networking facilities. Occurred to us that being in one of these rooms for a couple hours is like standing on an airport runway... it is NOISY. So why not use what the pros at an airport use? Well, the David Clark 10A works GREAT, we leave them hanging right in our equipment rack, it takes 3 seconds to pop on & presto a nice quiet place to get work done, rather than rushing to get out of the room. This product has proven itself at airports for decades, and really is outstanding. Even looks nice, brightly colored so easy to find in a crowded equipment room.
