It's Just Oil by Gerry from Virginia Beach VA USA
Review: Folks, this is just plain old airplane engine oil. It works. If it didn't, I wouldn't buy it.

On Saturday, April 05, 2008 a customer asked:
Q: I have a Lycoming O-320 D1A engine in my RV 9A. I've been using Aeroshell 100W Plus since day one, except the break in period. Can I now use Aeroshell 15W-50 since the temps in Arizona are much lower in winter than in Mississippi? Does 15W-50 have that special additive that the 100W Plus has?
Thank you,
Bob Sell
A:
Yes, both the 15W50 and the 100 Plus have the additive. The owner of MyPilotStore.com has an RV-6A with an O-320 and he said it has used AeroShell 15W-50 exclusively for the 700+ hours on the engine with most of the time in Indiana and the last 150 hours in Arizona.
