Pros: Great for not a noisy cockpit. Cons: Not ear protection for noise Review: Neat communications but in the page says it has burst protection for hearing and it doesn't. Not bad but not good for EMB 145. Cockpit is way too noisy. Able to hear with all volume. They are good.

Horrible durability, but clear audio with a big exception. by A Customer from San Diego, CA
Pros: Unobtrusive microphone allows eating and drinking, lightweight. Cons: Substandard build quality, hearing damage circuit too overzealous. Review: I have to give these headsets 1 star. I am a big Sennheiser fan. I own 3 Sennheiser hi-fi audio headphones at home that have lasted many years with the usual high end Sennheiser audio quality. These headsets are the exception. Horrible horrible build quality. After only 16 months of owning the HME43K headsets both plastic supports near the two small phillips head screws just above the audio driver are cracked. The folding cam-like detent position of the audio driver on one side is completely loose because of it. There are also cracks above the headset size adjusting slider that are getting worse every day I fly. The normal day to day applying and removing of the headsets have cracked the headset in multiple locations rendering it completely useless. One other big issue I have is there's an annoying circuit designed to "prevent" hearing damage from loud sudden audio transmissions. While one would think of this as useful, the forced volume limit suppresses the volume too much. When this circuit kicks in, transmissions and cockpit interphone usage that barely exceed the circuit's threshold COMPLETELY render everything totally distorted and masked. I wish I would have been warned about this before spending the money on the headsets. This would have made my choose an alternative brand. Other than these cons, the headset is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and audio is very clear (when not exceeding the overzealous hearing damage prevention circuit's limits).

Comfortable to wear, but technically behind by A Customer from Vero Beach FL USA
Pros: very comfortable to wear Cons: microphone picks up tremendous background noise Review: The headset is very comfortable to wear, but because it is so light and with so little clam forces needs constant attention to keep it on your head. The microphone is placed too far away from your mouth (too much to the side) and picks up tremendous background noise. If you do not speak really loud, your voice gets covered by the background noise. The headset can only be recommended for extremely low noise cockpits.

Pros: Crystal clear communications Cons: A little heavy for a lite weight headset Review: Superior audio quality, both transmit and receive. Very comfortable, but could be a few ounces lighter. Would love a volume control and either retractable cord or coiled cord.

Cons: Not usable for airline operations Review: Volume is not load enough to hear. When the volume control is increased on the audio panel past about the 50% point, volume actually drops off. This works the same on several different aircraft which I fly. Same type, different aircraft.
