Nice warm jacket but

Review: I really looked forward to getting this jacket but was disappointed with the leather. It has stripes where the leather had not adhered to the backing causing it to look like a large cat had scratched the lamb before they skinned it. Other than that, the jacket is well stitched, warm, and a quality item. It's just too bad they used factory second leather on my jacket.

Review: This Jacket is awesome. I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. The sizing is perfect. The quality of leather is wonderful and it is made in the USA. I have to say that I am amazingly pleased with the customer service I received from mypilotstore.com!!! I ordered the jacket on a Monday with overnight express shipping. They called me to inform me that it was on back order and it would be a few days and offered to refund my express shipping costs. I explained to them that my boyfriends birthday was that Wednesday and I was really hoping to give him the jacket. I don't know how they did it but he was wearing the jacket that Wednesday before noon. I know where I will be buying his Christmas presents. THANK YOU MYPILOTSTORE.COM!!!!

Great leather Aviator jacket!

Cons: It took a long time to exchange sizes. He was between a reg and a tall and I first went with tall. He is 6'1". Too big.
Review: The leather is wonderful and will likely get softer and more "antique" with time. Contrary to some reviews, both my husband and I LOVED the lining. It gives us a smile every time. Living in Wisconsin, he needs this jacket most of the year and will thoroughly enjoy it. Plenty of room for fleece under it.

Great piece of American History!

Cons: Might be a bit heavy (weight wise) for some.
Review: This jacket was all I expected and then some. Very well made (in America I might add!) and extremely warm. The lining itself is like looking back in history as well. Fits true to size. And the compliments are never ending anywhere I go! Should last a long time with minimal upkeep. I'm hot-natured by rule, but have been very comfortable even in the strange Louisiana up and down weather we have! (20's at night to upper 70's during the day)

Very Good Quality Leather

Review: This is a really good quality A-2 leather jacket. It was alitte stiff around the collar at frist, but it broke in after a week. I received the jacket 2 days before christmas, when I ordered it on 12-16. It's getting the worn look real easily since i got it a month ago and wearing it. There's no need to go an extra size I got a 2xl, and can still wear a sweat shirt underneath. The lining is very decorative and nice, but I would have liked to have had a plain one if I had the choice. Thanks

Arrived quickly, around the holidays. There was an extra layer of cardboard in the box to make sure I didn't cut the jacket opening the box. They really DID think of everything! Top quality jacket for a top gun pilot

Review: Loved this wonderful A-2 Leather Jacket!! My dad, a WWII pilot, is 86 years young and loves the feel, the warmth and the good looks of this A-2. The lining is great with artistic flair that is fun to show off. The weight is heavy but the leather is supple, unlike so many other supposed "genuine" A-2's. Very reasonable price as I saw the identical jacket on other sites/catalogs for $50 to $120 more.

Husband loves coat.

Review: Just got my A-2 Lambskin Jacket today. It's very tuff to find a Very Good Quality Leather Jacket made in the USA in a store today especially without paying an arm or leg. Was a bit iffy buying this off the Net, without seeing / trying it on first. They definitely keep the consumer in mind with pricing & shipping cost. Cons: Possibly the weight/size and the fact that it's so warm. But really, these are qualities of this type of jacket.
Review: This is my first leather jacket and it is amazing! Very thick, very heavy, just like an A-2 is supposed to be. My only complaint (if I was forced to have one) was that it's SO thick I haven't really had much chance to wear it with the weather still warm. If you're looking for a flight jacket though, this is GREAT!

Review: This product exceeded my expectations. I gave this jacket to my best friend, who has a similar issued coat from the Army from years ago, the lining is really cool. The fit is perfect for him and he will be able to wear a thick sweatshirt/ sweater underneath if needed. After Retiring, 34 yrs as an Army SF, R&D, Instructor, test pilot, he deserved only the best of jackets and this one is surely it.

Review: While the leather of which the jacket is constructed is very attractively textured, I am disappointed by its light weight compared to the Avirex Varsity jacket that I have been wearing and enjoying for years; and by the facts that the label most visible when the jacket is hanging is sewn in crooked, and the inside of the jacket's elastic waistband is pilling most grievously. Altogether I do not think I really got my money's worth.
