Developed by Momentum Interactive with NASA STATOP and NAFI Master CFI assistance, the world class FLITELite engineering team developed and integrated LiteTouch technology for hands free operations and incorporated a LiteDetect sensor to shut itself off in bright light, saving precious battery life so it is there when you need it most. FLITELite is the first smart light that is custom fit to a flex boom headset. FLITELite incorporates solid state, computer logic chip control, with a program developed to deliver light when and where you need it. Other "mic lights" utilize a mechanical on/off switch. When you strap in for your night flight, your have a choice, dead batteries with the old lights since the switch was bumped days before, or FLITELite - with its auto off feature that will time out in one minute. With the mechanical switch version, you have to stabilize the light with one hand to keep it from pushing away from your face when the switch is activated. This isn't the case with FLITELite!
