Superb!! by Clive from McLean VA USA
Review: Amazing noise cancelling headphones. Sound quality exceeds the Bose QC 2/3's. Headphones are very light and comfortable + the noise canceeling is very effective. Only minor gripe is that the additional wires feeding the remote noise cancallation unit can be a bit obtrusive, but not a big deal. Overall, I would highly recommend

Who needs to spend the money on Bose? by A Customer from Annapolis, MD
Pros: Sound, comfort, compactability, cost Cons: Strange look, akward battery case Review: Don't get my tag line wrong, I do love the Bose QuietComfort2. This review is about how I came from wanting Bose to owning Sennheiser.
This began with my office providing (temporarily) $300 Bose (over-ear) Quietcomfort2 noise-canceling headphones due to construction and server noise. They worked GREAT and the noise canceling was such a relief (from everything) I decided I need a pair of my own. My research brought me across Sennheiser products. They seemed to have a solid reputation with a bearable price tag. My husband had a pair of Sennheiser headphones (low-end) and they had great sound quality. So, I figured 'what the hey' and bought a pair.
I bought them for both the office and personal travel. In the office they have been incredible and comfortable (even though they don't look it at all). I forget they are on. I have found ear-buds hurt after an hour and over-the-ear headphones seem to cause pressure on my eardrums after too long. As much as I love silence, I love music too. I think the sound quality is superb. From classical to rock, the music (and voices) were crystal clear without needing the volume to be turn up loud. Their compact design is fantastic for bringing them to the office and home with ease. I can just throw them in my purse or desk drawer and the case is sturdy that no damage can come to them with my constant carelessness. I use rechargeable batteries and I used the headphones for nearly 8 hours straight without recharging. I have not done a complete measure of time, but I am pretty confident they don't suck down batteries like other things I own.
As for travel side, I have not traveled with them yet, but I have a 30 hour (with layovers) trip (in economy) coming up in a month. I have been flying since infancy, so I have an excellent baseline as a traveler. If these perform as they have in the office, this will be the most pleasant trip in years (barring security lines). It will be nice not only to drown out engine noise, but airport noise too. I bought a couple of audio books and look forward to enjoying them on this trip.
Conclusion: Half the price, twice the portability, and same great (if not slightly better) sound quality. This is why I wanted Bose and bought Sennheiser.

Effective Product that makes flying a ton better by Keith from Pearland, Tx
Pros: Decent sound and noise reduction small size Cons: Hiss Review: These headphones cut out a good bit of the noise - you will notice the difference. There can be a slight hiss but in the big picture view of the world it is much better than all of the noise that it is cutting out.
It is also much cheaper and smaller than the Bose QC3 which were a big plus.

Great Noise Cancelling Headset - Better Value than most by A Customer from Tampa, FL
Pros: price, noise quality, size Cons: Look is not as nice as Bose Review: There are many products out in the market that have Noise Cancelling capability. However, for top quality you are typically paying over $250. For $138 including shipping this is definitely a great value. The Noise Cancelling function does not put too much pressure on your ears as some other may and its size makes it ideal for frequent travel. If you are in the market for Noise Cancelling Headphone...the PXC 300 is a must to consider.
