I would reccomend this product to others by Firstflight 172 from Dearborn MI USA

Manual Good - Binder Bad by Calvin from Havelock NC USA
Pros: Good information Cons: Binder sux, pages com undun or rip in less than a month Review: [1998&On Cessna 172S] The manual had all the appropriate information but if your going to charge such a high price the should come with a hard binder and the pagers should be three or four hole punched. That would make it the perfect manual and once the word got out that you packaged manuals that way pilots would buy them from you.

No surprises, Great Binding by Will from Henrico VA USA
Pros: Spiral Binding Cons: Reduced size makes some diagrams a little small or blurry. Review: [1982 Cessna 172P] I am a student pilot and needed a reference for the Skyhawk I use for training. The AIM is pure reproduction of the 1982 version with all of the supplements. I like the modern wire spiral binding. It makes lying the manual flat during flight planning a breeze. It also allows the reader to fold the book back on itself for low profile reading.

Spiral Bound POH by Charles from Talladega AL USA
Pros: Great Prudct Review: [1976 Cessna 172M] I flight instruct in this model aircraft so the POH spiral binding is very useful as it lays flat when open. It appears to be very durable - I would buy it again.

Copy of the original by A Customer from AZ USA
Pros: It's the manual that came with the plane Cons: Still 1956 information Review: [1956 Cessna 172] I can't complain too much because I wanted a manual and that's what I got. I thought it would be updated but it is an exact copy of the original. Nothing wrong with that but there is a lot of new items since 1956 that could have been added and updated.

Spiral Bound! by Chris Champion from Palmyra PA USA
Pros: spiral binding Review: [1997 + Cessna 172R] I am very happy with this POH. The one in the airplane I rent is pretty ratty - and the checklist has items that flow over to a following page. The checklist in this version has better pagination.
I love the spiral binding. I made some photocopies of pages I might need to reference and this made it easy to get both pages without weird stretching.

Pros: Like the original. Cons: none. Review: [1981 Cessna 172P] I wanted my on copy of the POH for the aircraft I rent. This is it. No surprises! Has the diclaimer "For information only" and I use it for that. For any critical information, I go straight to the actual aircrafts POH. Handy construction with a spiral binding.

Not quite up to date by Philip from Cosham Portsmouth United Kingdom
Pros: Better than borrowing the aircraft copy ! Cons: Be sure to copy the actual aircraft weights and moments. Review: [2004 & On Cessna 172S NAVIII] This is almost identical to to the OEM POH supplied with the aircraft. The copy I received was Revision 3 - 12 October 2006. The latest edition at my Aero Club is summer 2007. The main difference is that up to 2006 Cessna were using the Bendix/King KAP 140 autopilot. They are now using the integrated Garmin AFCS. Functionality is much the same and Revision 3 actually contains more supplements. Anyway you still need the Garmin POH as well.

Correct, but overpriced. by Mark from
Pros: Necessary operating information included. Cons: Grossly overpriced, pictures and graphs lack quality Review: [1960 Cessna 172A] At a purchase price of nearly 60 bucks, it should come with clearly reproduced pictures and graphs (which it doesn't). While I enjoy doing business with MyPilotStore, I certainly don't think this product warrants such a high price. Thumbs down.

I want more of the wire bound supplements! by Deanna from Taunton MA USA
Pros: Wire bound Cons: Too expensive. As a flight school I could really use a break for buying in bulk. Review: [1978 Cessna 172N] The product is now wire bound. Much easier to use. I own a flight shool and used to rip up the supplement, punch holes in it, and place it in a three ring notebook for ease of use. Now I don't have to do that or better yet, pay someone to do it.

You CAN judge this book by its cover by John Countryman from Petaluma, CA
Cons: none Review: [1997 & On Cessna 172R Aircraft Information Manual] I'm not rich enough to own this aircraft, so I rent it from my local flight school. It is very beneficial to have this AIM on hand for immediate reference at home at any time. Great for knowing this plane inside and out and being fully informed and prepared every time I take it up. Be a responsible and proficient pilot, have one for every type aircraft you rent.
