Constructed from new durable aerospace material, these headsets offer a real
breakthrough in comfort and noise attenuation. For example, the new adjustable
six pillow, soft foam head pads are designed to conform to head contours and
eliminate "hot spots" on extra long flights.
The Super Soft Foam filled ear seals are made to surround the ears with quiet
comfort. This blocks noise interference and provides the optimum comfort in a
"no-squeeze" fit for hours of use. With a Noise Reduction Rating of -23dB, a
quiet flight is assured. The Red Baron has a single volume control. An improved
solid state Electret M-55 Condenser Microphone offers the finest in audio
clarity and noise-canceling properties. Likewise, these noise canceling
microphones are capable of rejecting most outside noise and, at the same time,
provide clear, crisp voice transmission. The six-way adjustable "friction boom"
allows for precision placement of the microphone, and can be positioned on
either side of the mouth.
The long, heavy duty cable assemblies are made to withstand strains up to 95
pounds and retain their flexibility from -40° to +120°F. Attached to the cables
are gold plated plugs which are designed to eliminate connector static.
SoftComm's "Pride-of-Workmanship" and "Made in the U.S.A." plus a three-year
warranty make this headset an excellent value.

Good sounding, great confort. by Marie J Al from Montral, QC
Pros: Very comfortable, sound is definitely amazing. Cons: Cheap. Review: I bought three headsets for passengers this month. I picked up some brands randomly. I took this headset for the crazy color (having in mind that nobody will try to steal it) and, big surprise, this headset was amazingly good. The ear cup are larger than other cheap headset, the fitting is right but the sound is kind of... better than in a David Clark. I own a H10.13.4 stereo and I compared it in my mixing board. I'm a professional musician and freak about hi-fi audio. I stayed there for a half of hour just listening to music with this headset. I can tell you that this headset worth so much more than the hundred of bucks. The only negative point is the cheap plastic and metal part. I feel it can breaks in a sturdy passenger hands. Close your eyes and you'll think it's a David Clark. And, oh, DClark earpad fits on Softcomm.
