The Sennheiser HMEC 25 is a headset for commercial aviation purposes.  The HMEC-25 comes in three different versions.  The standard HMEC-25-KA headset (detailed below), the HMEC-25-KAS which is a stereo version, and the HMEC-25-KAP Panel Mount 24 Volt.

On Thursday, May 22, 2008 a customer asked: Q: I fly the MD-11. Will the HMEC 25-KAP ANR work on aircraft power without the need for batteries? A: Not unless the panel has been specifically wired for this headset.  Without special / custom avionics work, you would want to look at one of the battery powered models - either the HMEC-25-KA or HMEC-25-KAS (Stereo Version).
