It takes practice to sound like a seasoned pilot! Talking on the radio can be
intimidating and stressful. Aviation Radio Communications Made Easy will assist
you in learning to talk effectively and efficiently on the radio during your
flights. Take this communication resource with you on your next flight, to be
used as a memory aid, training tool, and confidence builder to develop your
communication skills. Soon, your delivery will be smooth and professional and
you will fully understand what ATC is telling/asking you.
The templates allow you to construct a communication script for every flight
— regardless of its complexity or the number of communications required. Fill in
most of the template blanks during preflight, tear them out and take them with
you to the cockpit. Sized to fit your kneeboard, they work as speaking notes to
lighten your in-flight workload and eliminate the guesswork about when, for
what, and to whom you should be speaking.
Multiple copies of each template are included, along with instructions,
communication tips and practical examples. Each of the 32 templates matches a
different type of radio communication that may be needed in a VFR flight. Take
along the templates necessary for the flight, and in effect you create a
"communications trip kit" to use during the flight.
This book is especially effective for student pilots, ground schools, limited
English-speaking pilots, flight instructors, and pilots transitioning to new
airspace. 6" x 8-1/2" format, spiral binding, 4 copies of each template.

good book but does not meet my original requirement. by Tomio from Chiba Japan
Review: The book is unique but not what I expected. More summary on the contents would help me to pick up right book. It may be my fault. Shipping charge is too high for oerseas purchaser. I paid twice as much of freight as book price.

I recommend this purchase by A Customer from Moss Point MS USA
Pros: informative and well structured Cons: none so far Review: This book is not only informative about the required communication skills; it helped me to understand the procedures that are used. On my first adventure into class C airspace, I used the planned format. It helped make this difficult experience more enjoyable.

Communications Help is Here for Student Pilots by Ken from Valparaiso IN USA
Pros: Excellent resource for the student pilot flying into controlled airspace. Cons: Could really use written text with further explanations. Review: Really excellent guide to help the student pilot navigate into class D,C, or even B airspace. I found the templates extremely useful and really helps to get you organized BEFORE your fly into controlled airspace. This also helps you understand what information you need to give and what is going to be given to you in advance- which is most of the trouble when you start to fly into a towered airport.

Good template but not enough samples by A Customer from Los Angeles, CA
Pros: Good templates Cons: Not enough examples Review: It's good to have communication templates for every situation for pilots to prepare before flight, especially for a student pilot like me. The book, however, is short of good instructions. Of the 270 pages in the book, only 12 pages are text plus 13 samples. There are 29 templates, so 16 of them are without examples. The explanations of each templates are grouped in the 12-page text. I need to flip the book back and forth to understand what it's referring to. There is a small but ridiculous error in the book - it lists the phonetic alphabet for O as October.
