Torgoen T5 Zulu Time Watch - Steel Bracelet, Blue Face

The world is divided into 24 time zones. For easy reference in communications, a letter of the alphabet has been assigned to each time zone (less the letter "I" and "O"). The "clock" at Greenwich, England is used as the standard clock for international reference of time in communications, military, maritime and other activities that cross time zones. The letter designation for this clock is Z, pronounced ZULU in the phonetic alphabet.

This Torgoen Zulu watch uses an additional hand completing a full circle once every 24 hours that can also denote a different time zone including Zulu Time (i.e. GMT).

The Torgoen watch has an internal turning bezel, Swiss Quartz Chronograph movement and is water resistant to 330 feet. Great Watch, could be easier to set

Cons: Difficult to keep Zulu time when changing time zones
Review: This is a great watch, the face is very easy to read and it tells great time. It isn't cluttered with a flight computer. My only problem is when I change time zones and set the watch it also changes the Zulu time I have set on the second time zone hand. I then must adjust the second time zone back to Zulu and when I do I always turn the stem the wrong why and end up changing the date as well. I would purchase the watch again and highly recommend it as a great versital watch that does a great job of telling time for a good value.

Review: I purchased this as my work watch(airline pilot). It is well suited for that but impractical for everyday use. I have owned several aviation watches including an Omega Speedmaster and this is far and away the most accurate (1 sec per month) but also the heaviest and bulkiest. The blue face is very handsome and the large(primary)numbers are easy to read. The secondary (Zulu) numbers are impossible to read at night.

Review: We bought this as a gift for my husband. He is a new pilot, and having the zulu time on the watch has been a great help. Its built solid and is a "heavy" watch. The numbers glow in the dark. The leather box it comes in is also a nice touch, especially as a gift.
