This custom panel connector and attached wiring harness is for use with the
installed control module of the Bose Aviation Headset X,

LightSPEED Zulu
Panel Powered,
Sennheiser HMEC-466 or any other panel powered aviation headset that uses a
6-pin Redel / LEMO Connector. Semi-permanent installation
provides aircraft power and audio to headset. Six-foot wiring harness allows for
placement in locations throughout aircraft.

Well made, worth the effort

Pros: Everything need to power your Bose through the panel, no more batteries!
Cons: Would be nice to have wire labels for 3 black wires - com shield, mic shield and power ground.
Review: This Bose headset jack is very well constructed and the provided wiring diagram was more than sufficient. Not sure if other ANR headsets use this plug, but it is the one for the Bose for sure. The pre-wired harness was @ 5-6 feet long and is to be cut to length. Because the jack is intended to be wired directly to your existing standard headset plugs, not sure why you would need 5-6 feet, but it is there if you do. Everything is shielded.
