It holds headset, airport/facilities directory, chart wallet, plotter, pilots information handbook, kneeboard, E6B, bottle of water, and there is still room for other items. My only qualm is the quality of construction. For a flight bag (which regularly undergoes all kinds of abuse), I expected it to be a bit more durable. Within the first use, the zippers separated. I was able to "re-match" the zippers, but this is a consistent problem...I don't even have the bag full, and the zippers continuously split. Good concept; disappointing execution.
