Useful design by Tom from The Sea Ranch CA USA
Pros: red lens cover Cons: eventual disintegration into chaos Review: I like that the red lens is mechanical, prevents the accidental dose of white light when you don't want it. It seems well constructed, obviously anything mechanical will eventually show wear but so far good

Nice and bright! by Thomas from Acton MA USA
Pros: Bright Cons: See review. Review: Comfortable fit, plenty bright, great having the ability to flip to red light on demand. It's a bit difficult finding and pushing the on/off button while wearing, especially with gloves. Also hard to find the tab that slides the red lens. It would be nice if they both protruded a bit more.

Works As Promised by Steve from Fort. Lauderdale, FL
Pros: reasonable price, ease of use, very bright, flexible Cons: None I could find Review: I used the light for pre-flights and instrument training at night. It works very well, is very bright and easily switches between red and white light as promised, with a flip of the sliding red plastic light cover.
The light angle is also easily changed by simply grabbing the it and bending it up or down to reset the angle.
I even wrapped the straps around my wrist to use the light that way when the head strap interfered with the IFR training foggles. Great product, battery really lasts.

Excellent product! by A Customer from So Cal
Pros: well made, variable intensity, easy to use Cons: No green lens Review: My only criticism is that I would like the lens in green. Petzl has green lenses for some of their other headlamps but not this model so I am stuck with the red lens. For charts, the red makes it hard to see some of the markings. The three stage intensity is great as well as the flip up red filter if you need white light on low intensity.
