Nice PTT by Jim from Berkeley CA USA
Pros: Great design if you don't need to plug you headset mic into the PTT lead. Cons: none Review: Nice PTT. Especially if you don't want a pesky headset adapter that you find on most switches.

Review: The PTT works as advertised, once you realize the adapter only accomodates the use of analog headsets with the Icom handheld.

Worked for me! by Airport Betty from Hawthorne NV USA
Pros: Sound was good quality. Cons: Lots of cords, but other than wireless, how else could you do it? Review: I got these to go with my David Clark headset so I can hear and communicate when necessary while I'm on the ramp with a lot of aircraft noise. I have an ICOM A-6 and it works fine.

Icom A24 radio and PTT switch by A Customer from Charlotte, NC
Pros: easy to operate Cons: not usable in flight, and why else would you buy one? Review: Got new A24, comes with plugs/cord for headset. Trying both David Clark and Lightspeed Zulu, squeal during transmit makes it unusable. I just placed two choke cores (ferrite beads) to various places on the cords, no change. Unusable as an inflight back up radio.

Product Should Include Ferrites by A Customer from Incline Village NV USA
Cons: Doesn't work as-is with at least two common headset brands Review: RF feedback generated from my ICOM A24 radio makes the PPT switch unusable with my David Clark and LightSpeed Zulu headsets. Besides the loud squeal the mic's signal never makes it to the radio. This is a known problem for which ICOM has issued a notice. Adding two ferrite beads to the headset cord fixes the problem for the David Clarks. The sole reason for my purchase was to establish a backup cockpit radio in the event of panel radio failures. Since I've yet to make it work with the Zulu, the switch has little value for this purpose.

Pros: Fits the bill Cons: None Review: Use it with my headphones during helicopter hot fueling. Much easier than pulling the handheld off my belt to direct choppers around.

Good product, but cheaper for a reason. by Jon from Johnson City TN USA
Pros: solid generic product. Cons: The cord is too short by about 2 feet. Review: The product is almost identical to higher priced models. However, there are two small problems. First, the cord is too short by about 1.5 to 2 feet. Second, the velcro attaching strap for the switch needs to be about 4" longer.
