The Sennheiser HMEC 25 is a headset for commercial aviation purposes.  The HMEC-25 comes in three different versions.  The standard HMEC-25-KA headset (detailed below), the HMEC-25-KAS which is a stereo version, and the HMEC-25-KAP Panel Mount 24 Volt.

On Saturday, February 07, 2009 a customer asked: Q: Can HMEC-25-KAP be used in the cockpit of 747-400? A: Unless the 747 that you fly is specifically wired to power an ANR headset through the microphone tip (not usually), this is not the right headset for you.  You would want the HMEC-25-KA or HMEC-25-KAS instead.
