Just what I needed by Nathanael from Puyallup WA USA
Pros: Comes organized Cons: Wish it included tabs, and dividers for approaches and departures Review: Comes with everything I need as an instrument student

Same old instrument plates by Toby from WA USA
Pros: Predictability Cons: Cost Review: The same charts I've been using my entire instrument pilot life. They are not the cheapest solution, but they work well for all the tasks I need them for. I received a 28 day update as well as the standard pack, which surprised me. Other than that, its not really a product that one would want any shock from.

Exactly what I wanted by Aaron from Seattle WA USA
Pros: Easier on the trees, and I don't have to remember to buy a new one every 56 days. Review: So far, everything is great. I got the initial set of charts, and have recieved one update so far. It was easy to replace the necessary pages (about 10 or so).

Review: I like the more detailed format of the the JEP plates. The coloring makes it much easier to see than NOSS. I would highly recomend these to anyone.

Great Product by James B. Bening Jr. from Spokane, WA USA
Pros: Great Product Review: However I do wish Jeppesen would offer State by State coverage for its charts. I would have also liked to have had Montana with this product but did not want the other states that come with that coverage.

On Thursday, January 05, 2012 a customer asked:
Q: Hi there,
I was interested in this subscription, however Jeppesen is offering a free iPad application, that allows pilots to view their charts electronically. Apparently, an annual subscription is all that is necessary, and I will be given a jeppesen serial number to download the chart data every two weeks as necessary. If I purchase this subscription, will this allow me to access online updates from Jepp? If you do not know, could you contact Jepp and find out for me? I am taking my Instument check ride in two weeks, so it is very important that I order soon. Thanks, Steve
A:
Jeppesen offers two different types of chart services. This one is an all paper service that includes all of the IFR charts for the Northwest in paper format. Updates are mailed to you as they happen every 14 days for one year. You simply pull out the old pages / charts and replace them with the new charts.
The other service is a digital service that includes use of the software on up to four devices (i.e. home computer, work computer, laptop, and an iPad). The updated charts are included for one year and they are updated, as needed, every 14 days. This service includes all of the IFR charts (TPP, approach plates, SIDS, STARS, enroute, etc.) digitally PLUS it also includes paper IFR Low Altitude Enroute Charts that are updated throughout the year. It sounds like this is the service you are interested in obtaining. If so, we offer either the JeppView Northwest Express Subscription that covers Washington, Oregon, and Idaho or the full JeppView Northwest Subscription that includes ID, MT, OR, WA, and WY.
