Saturday, November 07, 2009 A truly useful book covering the FARs. by BRUCE from BEND OR USA  Review: Rather than just reciting the FARs letter by letter, this book provides analysis and case reports to show how avaition law interprets the FARs. It mainly regurgitates them in their original legalese. The so-called explanations that I read are not much more than re-phrasing. Obviously the lawyers who reviewed this book prior to publication were unwilling to allow any words other than FAA's original grail to be used. It was also obsolete long before I succumbed to the advertising to buy it. I did not have the patience to read through the whole thing (who would?) but have relegated it to my shelf of obsolete reference material that I'll probably never pick up again.
