WORKS WITH BOSE X AVIATION HEADSET by Bob from Scottsdale AZ USA
Pros: Simple solution to connecting MP3 to the Bose Headset. Cons: You must turn volume higher than normal setting on the aircraft audio panel to hear ATC when MP3 player is activated or you will not hear ATC. This must be a function of the Bose headset and not the fault of the splitter. Review: I needed a splitter cord to connect my Bose Aviation and my MP3 player and still monitor ATC. I found that the headset adapter did the trick. I use it in a B747 and have found very little problems. You'd figure Bose would provide this feature with the $995 headset but that is another subject.

Volume problems by Adam R from Los Angeles, CA
Pros: Allows use of MP3 players while flying en route Cons: Volume is weak for COMs Review: I didn't like the product because as soon as I turned on my MP3 player the volume for the COMs was very weak and it was hard to listen to ATC. It's not bad if you are flying VFR and don't have to worry about listening to ATC all the time.

Works okay, not wonderful by A Customer from Oregon
Pros: Music is nice to have, easy adapter hook up Cons: Volume control is very poor Review: It is nice to have music in the cockpit but I don't think this adapter is the best solution. The volume control is not very good. When my MP3 player is attached and turned on the intercom volume is VERY low, I have to turn the volume on the radio AND headset up all the way to hear. If my MP3 player turns off I am blasted by the intercom volume. I feel as though I am constantly messing with the volume control to find a comfortable level.

Review: My boyfriend loves it, but he had to mess with it to figure out how to tune out the music so he could hear the control tower well and or set it to the perfect volume when the captain would talk. If that makes any sense...this is coming from the girlfriend.
