A flying necessity

Pros: Provides excellent communications with a hand-held radio.
Cons: none
Review: This product is mandatory to transmit and receive from a hand-held radio while flying due to the noisy invironment. Interfacing the tranceiver with my headset allows perfect noise-free clarity of communications.

I can't find any place that has the female outlet that looks like the plug that you show. Is it different??

The single female connecting plug that you see at the top of the picture is used to connect to the Icom Push-to-Talk Switch.

This headset adapter will work for the Icom IC-A3, IC-A6, IC-A14, IC-A22, and IC-A24. It does not include the Icom Push-to-Talk Switch which must be purchased separately.

Unfortunately, this will not work with the IC-A21. The headset adapter for the IC-A21 is no longer available.
