Pretty good so far

  • By Tim from Edwards CO USA on Wednesday, January 17, 2018
  • Pros: Comfort on head and ears
  • Review: Speaker does not move when you turn your head difficult to keep in speaking area. But more comfortable

Takes a little getting used to but after that GREAT

  • By Austin from Tempe AZ USA on Saturday, August 26, 2017
  • Pros: Lightweight, take very little room
  • Review: I write this review with about 50 hours flight time with them. This was my first experience with an "in ear" type of headphone. I fly a piston and the cockpit is loud but these do a nice job cancelling the sound, though they are not noise cancelling. The ear buds themselves are comfortable. It takes some time to get used to putting them on. And the hardest part and is still difficult after these 50 hours is placement of the mic. The headset is dependent on the back portion to rest against your head so if it's not positioned well or not snug enough the mic tends to move. Once all that is ironed out it's great. Would I buy this again? Probably.

Excellent lightweight headset

  • By Harold from Birmingham AL USA on Monday, June 19, 2017
  • Pros: Lightweight and no ear pressure
  • Review: The headset is extremely lightweight, which is what I was looking for, to use in a jet cockpit. It is comfortable for wear hours and hours. It seems to provide very adequate noise suppression, without needing a battery powered ANR system.

Takes getting used to, but great buy!

  • By Kimberly from Moravia NY USA on Friday, February 03, 2017
  • Pros: Lightweight, can wear any sunglasses and/or hat
  • Review: Going from an over the ear headset to the in ear headset takes some getting used to. You hear the airplane differently. Make sure you check which size plugs fit your ears best.

Does it really work?

  • By Loren from Falcon Heights MN USA on Tuesday, July 19, 2016
  • Pros: How to
  • Review: Does it really work? I bought the Faro headset put it on and tried it out and was totally disappointed in the level of noise suppression. Then I noticed that there were different size ear pieces in the bag and I pulled out the large one and put it onto the headset and tried again. It was only then that I realized that the smaller your pieces did not seal up very well and the larger ones sealed up perfectly. The problem was not with the headset but with the operator! And I have also used it to listen to music and TV and I am very impressed with the quality of the sound it produces.

  • Pros: Lightweight, take very little room
  • Cons: Challenging to get it secure on my head in such a way that I can position the mic and it won't move.
