<== Back to Charts Index Helicopter Route Charts These three-color charts depict current aeronautical information useful to helicopter pilots navigating in areas with high concentrations of helicopter activity. Information depicted includes helicopter routes, four classes of heliports with associated frequency and lighting capabilities, NAVAIDs, and obstructions. In addition, pictorial symbols, roads, and easily-identified geographic features are portrayed. These charts are printed on durable plasticized paper and are updated only as requested by the FAA.
* The helicopter route charts are NOT updated on a regular basis. They are updated "as-needed" as determined by the FAA. These editions are the most current available. The FAA generally announces a new edition 30-60 days ahead of the printing date. If you are a subscriber, we will automatically send out the new charts whenever they are published.
